It's a long weekend here in the NT (not sure why...Queen's Birthday, I think), so the paint came out and I got around to painting the new wall of my renovated laundry which backs onto the dining room. Only the cupboard doors to go now and the "two week job" the builders started in January will be complete! Woo Hoo!

Still have a lot more painitng to do... not a good plan with a 6 year old helper:)

Currently working my way through the softcover proof of Wolfblade. Just discovered the entrie US manuscript has the Australian spelling of "realize" which is "realise". 98 corrections for one silly word...

And they say we all speak English! Hah!

Still have the Australian re-issue editions of Medalon, Treason Keep and Harshini to go through.

Everyone (as in various editors) is expecting them done by May... optomistic little souls, aren't they?

Houseguests: Only 1 - "He Who Must be Spoiled Rotten" my grandson, Dace. Spent 2 days here, has now decided to hang around for another. Ocassionally, he goes home. Really. He does...

Presence of over-induldged grandson means I got to watch the 4th Harry Potter movie again. Oh Goodie...

Hi and welcome to my fab new website. Words can't describe what a brilliant job Fiona and her team at Speculate have done on this site (which is a bit sad really - you'd think an author could find the words, wouldn't you?)...LOL

Anyway, please be patient as we import all the content from the old site. Some of it, like the maps, sketches and author's notes will take time to get across. In the meantime, there's plenty of new stuff here to keep you entertained.

Not sure when the new site will be  declared "complete". I keep having brainwaves and getting all excited and ringing up and asking things like "can we just add one more itty-bitty little thing... you know... like a guest book...?"

Fortunately, the good people at Speculate, in addition to being freakishly talented, are very patient and understanding, although we do have the odd discussion about the definition of the term "variation"...LOL

Blogging is a new hobby for me, so I shall try to keep it up, although it may fall by the wayside on occasion. In the meantime, I will try to keep you updated about the progress of the Tide Lords series (35,000 words done of Book 2 ,The Gods of Amyrantha) and share some of the insanity that is my normal everyday life.
