Charity Auction at Supanova to be a character in my next bookI'm closing the email bidding off for the Melbourne auction now because it's 12:00am here in Adelaide. Highest email bid was $500. That is awesome! And the incredibly generous front runner is even someone with a Irish name! I kinda hope she wins, although it would be nice for the Bushfire victims to raise even more $$$. If you want another bite at the cherry, there is another auction next Friday in Brisbane, so we'll start the bidding off again at $20 and see how we go for the next week. The proceeds of the next auction will be going to Flood Relief for the Queensland flood victims who are doing it just as tough, but not getting nearly the same coverage as the bushfire sufferers. The details of the prize are as follows:
You get to chose the name. I get to decide everything else. If you want to bid, email me here If you want to bid via one of the free services (gmail, yahoo, hotmail, etc) email your bid to info@jenniferfallon.com. I will keep you posted as to the progress of the auction on Twitter (because it's faster). Bids for Brisbane will close on Thursday, April 2nd, at midnight (ACDST).
Would you like to be a character in the next Jennifer Fallon novel?Would you like to be a character in the next Jennifer Fallon novel? Email bidding closes at Midnight (CADST) which is 1:00 am on the East coast of Australia. After that, you'll have to turn up to the charity auction at the Preview Night for Supanova in Melbourne:) BTW... if you want to bid via one of the free services (gmail, yahoo, hotmail, etc) email your bid to info@jenniferfallon.com. A few bids on my link yesterday went astray... Latest bid is $80. Remember, it's for a good cause!

Would you like to be a character in the next Jennifer Fallon novel?I've been busting to tell you guys about this, and now I can... As part of the Charity Auction to be held at Supanova this weekend (and again in Brisbane the following weekend) we are auctioning off a character in my next series. The proceeds will be going to Bushfire Relief from the Melbourne Auction and Flood Relief for the Brisbane Auction. The details of the prize are as follows:
Now... given that the book is set partly in Ireland (with Dutch overtones... have fun figuring that one out...hehehe), if your name is Ignatious Yanopoporopolous, you probably won't get to be the hero's favourite younger brother... You get to chose the name. I get to decide everything else. So... if you're not in Melbourne or Brisbane, how do you bid? I'm glad you asked... if you want to bid, email me here We haven't set a minimum bid, but I will keep you posted as to the progress of the auction (probably on Twitter because it's faster). Bids for Melbourne will close on Thursday at midnight (ACDST). Any bids for Melbourne than miss the deadline will be offered the option to transfer to the Brisbane Auction.
Happy bidding!

I have a new Battery Operated FriendOK... get your minds out of the gutter, you lot*. I'm talking about my new pussy...
Meet DD (as in Declan's Doppelganger). I am missing my animals sooo badly while I'm here in Adelaide (haven't really noticed the absent kids, interestingly), but I am badly in need of some four-footed company, hugs and pats. So I did what any normal, rational person does when they're missing their animals. I bought a battery operated cat. He doesn't do much other than sleep (actually, that's all he does) but his chest moves up and down like he's really breathing and he purrs. And he looks so cute, that if you forget about the fact I bought him at a newsagent, you can almost kid yourself into believing he's real:) So now I have someone to pat, and talk to, and unlike the other Declan (AKA the psycho pussy) he doesn't bite. Happy is what you make it, don't you think? *You're probably thinking I meant a Battery Operated Boyfriend, aren't you, which is an entirely different matter that I'm too polite to blog about...

Supanova is nearly here!I suddenly realised today that's it's only 5 days until Supanova starts! And that means it's only 6 days until the World Building Master Class. Sonny won't be in Melbourne, so you'll be getting me alone. Sorry. On the upside, Katee Sackoff from BSG is coming now to Melbourne. She ought to be fun:) BTW, if you're thinking of coming to the Master Class and can't make up your mind, consider this - tickets bought now through Ticketek are considerably cheaper than the tickets at Supanova if you change your mind at the last minute and decide to buy a ticket at the con. And now I have to go. I have a lot of work to do before then. Many more workbooks to print! EEK!
