Back in Adelaide...Time from hotel in Melbourne to Airport: 30 mins Time from checkin to boarding: 2 hours (I got there early) Time to Adelaide from Melbourne:1 hour 20 mins Time for luggage to appear on the Adelaide carousel thanks to the baggage handlers snap strike: 2 FRAKING HOURS!!! And my bags were the very first unloaded off the flight! Time from Adelaide Airport to home: 30 mins And to think... And the winner is...Murray Symes! Murray generously donated the princely sum of $550 to Bushfire Relief to get his name in my next book! If you want another bite at the cherry, there is another auction next Friday in Brisbane, so we'll start the bidding off again at $20 and see how we go for the next week. If bid in the last auction and want your bid transferred to the Brisbane auction, just flick an email to infor@jenniferfallon.com and confirm you bid. The proceeds of the next auction will be going to Flood Relief for the Queensland flood victims. Just a reminder (starting to sound lile Tyra in ANTM... hehehe) that details of the prize are as follows:
You get to chose the name. I get to decide everything else. If you want to bid, email me here If you want to bid via one of the free services (gmail, yahoo, hotmail, etc) email your bid to info@jenniferfallon.com. I will keep you posted as to the progress of the auction on Twitter (because it's faster). Bids for Brisbane will close on Thursday, April 2nd, at midnight (ACDST).

A day in the life of...I am sitting the Qantas Club lounge at Adelaide Airport, sipping a latte, eating the free food (hey, the oncologist told me not to lose weight), blogging on the free internet. I am having an excellent day. The very nice Long Term Carpark shuttle bus driver got me a trolley, loaded my 7 bags for me and gave me hug when he dropped me off. The Checkin at Qantas guy only charged me half what he should have in excess baggage. Thirdborn is meeting me in Melbourne so I will get to see my gorgeous son and his even more gorgoeus wife. Life would be wonderful, but for the moment of madness this morning that saw me put in on high-heeled boots rather than "sensible" shoes. I look fab. My feet are killing me. Wonder if I can con a foot massage out of one of the flight attendants? I mean, you gotta get something other than free booze in business class, don't you?
