Where's my stuff?Well, I have a desk (or a "disk" as they say here in Kiwi Land...hehehe). I have a footstool. But I'm still sleeping on a sofa bed. My 40' container of, well, everything else I own, is still sitting on a wharf in Melbourne somewhere, waiting on a ship.. If it doesn't turn up soon, I'm going to just claim the insurance and go shopping with the proceeds, except I am sooo over flat-packed furniture I never want to see another allen key again as long as I live. On the upside... we bought a very awesome (and rather Austin Powers) white leather lounge for the gallery where the writers' workshops will be held. All I need now is the projector and the grand piano in the corner...

That's annoying about your belongings being delayed. Do they have any reason for it? My job with the Gov is to relocate people and when we start a relocation we get to decide on a timeframe. If they step outside the pre-arranged dates, they then have to 'make it up to us'. Is that an option at all? :\
We can sart sending care packaages. I was just given a red cloth toilet seat cover (see my blog - there is a story behind it - of course there is a story behind it) which I am pretty sure I can spare to make your new home liveable.
