Yay me! My Masters degree turned up in the mail today.

I can now officialy claim to have a Master of Arts (Research), which is the most obscure title you can imagine and makes it sound like I can now work in a laboratory.

Secondborn calls it my Master of Bullshit degree. But then, she thinks all Arts students should be fed to the lions as entertainment for all the science and engineering students... hehehe.

Anyway... it's a done deal now and I'm feeling very smug. Not sure what I'm supposed to do with it now... maybe I'll manage to get published:)

Oh, the degree looks like this, only it's not framed and it has, you know... my name on it.

Well, that's enough smugging. I have a book to write.

Congrats Jen! My mum had a similar feeling towards arts that Secondborn does--she called it a Bachelor of Beer, because all Arts students do is drink.

I had no problem with her interpretation. Lol.

James, please tell your mother that having spent a great deal of time with engineering students (mostly from QUT) that they could out-drink the arts students any day.

Well done Jenny, I hope you get it framed nicely and then treat it with the respect it deserves. My Dip Ed from QUT is nicely framed and sitting gathering dust in a cupboard somewhere.
