These are more photos from the big storm we had on Monday.

They're now saying it was the equivalent of a Category 2 Cyclone.

BTW, these photos have not been retouched. This really was the colour of the sky.

Reminds me when we had a big ash storm back where I used to live. It rained black rain...

It made for stunning photos.

I drove in to Alice on the day of the storm from King's Canyon.
No rain but 5 hours of dust. Visibility down to 20 metres, very scary.

Btw I decided to hit some of the tourist shops looking for some Fallonallia - a Demon Child T shirt or Wolfblade snow globe. Jen they don't have any!! You better get down to the Mall quick smart and sort them out - you're losing business.

Even worse I went to one of the tour companies to do the Fallon tour of Alice - they have never heard of it!! (although a couple of guys with a ute seemed quite taken with the idea - so expect a call in the next few days).

I saw a Fallon number plate the other day:)

That sky is so beautiful and scary. I've seen pick skies before big storms before but nothing quite so brillant as that.

This storm! I went outside for five seconds and was drenched. It was as bad as the storm we had two years ago Christmas break.

Pics are great. It was scary to see it coming in.
