Happy Birthday Jenny for yesterday! Glad you had a lovely day.
Hey look at that, it's the book I have currently sitting beside me...though I think the new cover on this edition looks slightly better.
Question. So 'The Hythrun Chronicles' is more commonly used to describe the whole collection (6 books) ??? I didn't know that separately the series (Wolfblade, Warrior, Warlord) was simply known as 'The Wolfblade trilogy' I'm one of those people that prefer to call the first three books, 'The Demon Child trilogy' It's very confusing isn't it! Then again my mind is still a bit frazzled from my earlier attempts to construct some kind of family tree of the Wolfblade crew. At this point it's turning into more of a family forest. And happy belated birthday!
It started out as the Demon Child Trilogy
And then I wrote the Hythrun Chronicles. And then the US publishers decided to call the whole series, the Hythryn Chronicles. But they released them in the same order as I wrote them, not in the order they are chronologically set. About the release of Treason Keep they decided this might get confusing, so they changed back to the Demon Child thing, but by then, the whole series was known as the Hythrun Chronicles so they dubbed the last three books the Wolfblade trilogy. The UK Publishers followed the Americal lead. In Australia, there is no "Wolfblade Trilogy" only THe DCT and the Hythrun Chronicles All clear now? LOL
That makes much more sense now. I knew the separate names for the trilogy, but never got why they called the whole thing "The Hythrun Chronicles", when the first books obviously took place in Medalon (for the most part).
I never quite figured out why the American publishers choose to change around title names all the time....
Incidentally, I can't believe that the author that so enraptures me with her storytelling regularly goes "LOL" :( *does not like lol*
Ah so I was/ am correct in my original line of thought!
Thank you for clearing it up for me. Now back I go to Wolfblade. (...Just quickly, I thought I'd tell you I am ecstatic to not only see Tejay Lionsclaw make an appearance but my beloved Adrina as well.) I really am having a ridiculous amount of fun with these books. ^_^
I had a ridiculous amount of fun writing them:)
oooh i just emailed the same question >.<
