Ever since I started writing The Tide Lords, I have worried than I won't be able to pull of the ending I have in mind. I've worried that it won't work, won't be believable or simply that I won't be able to do my Very Clever Idea justice. 

My first Beta Reader came back with her comments last night. This is the first person besides me to discover how the book (and the series) ends.

Her comment...

Wow.

 No, nothing else, just wow!

I can live with that.

so how do you get to be a Beta Reader????? :O)

Just spent the weekend reading - first rereading the Demon Child trilogy (which worked a lot better now I've read the Hythrum Chronicles), and then moved onto the Tide Lords for the first time.

Two books in, and I'm really hooked. Strong, intelligent female character? Yep. Immortals? Yep. Two of the things I really enjoy in books. (Give me a strong, intelligent, immortal female character and I'm really happy).

The wait until book 4 is going to be a pain.

The first one comes out next month here! I can't wait...I've pre-ordered it on Amazon. I've been in withdrawal, so I'm re-reading Wolfblade right now; getting my weekly dose *crack cocaine*. ;)
