I am sitting here waiting for the Tablet PC to charge up so I can pack it for the airport. Today I leave for Melbourne and the fabulous fun that is Supanova.
I will be blogging over the weekend, both here and on the Voyager Online blog (because I have like, soooo much spare time), but I am also working like a dog the whole weekend - if you can call schmoozing with TV stars of my fave shows, talking to fans, signing autographs, drinking vast quantities of Southern Comfort and Diet Coke mineral water, giving talks and generally have a blast actual work...
Anyway, you should come along and join the fun if you're in Melbourne. If not, I will endeavour to keep you up to date with what's happening. This Supanova is going to be particularly fun becasue Thirdborn and his lovely wife, ADIL (Awesome Daughter-In-Law), have volunteered and will be working at the con. ADIL is running the Green Room, Thirdborn (being the uncle and mentor of Dace) is probably angling for a way to run the whole damned con:)

Melbourne Exclusive Event!
As a special Melbourne exclusive, fans of fantasy author extraordinaire Jennifer Fallon, will have something wonderful to look forward to on the Saturday of Supanova Melbourne. Jennifer will be launching her final book in the Tide Lords series In the central Wrestling Ring of Supanova!!!! And to help her launch go off with an extra special bang she will be joined by special guest John Rhys Davies!!!! Who better to help launch a fantasy novel than possibly the worlds best known 6 foot tall dwarf!
The Launch is taking place at 1.00pm on Saturday the 29th of March in the AWF wrestling ring right in the heart of Supanova Melbourne. Come along and meet two of the true heavyweights of fantasy and support Australian fantasy!

I'm taking my 7 year old neice...that is, if she behaves today when I take her to the museum this afternoon, then the free Ballet at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl tonight.

Hmm, someone ought to tell the organisers that you are setting a new trend with this "trilogy" - doing a Douglas Adams if you will - a trilogy in four parts.
