The UK cover of Wolfblade

The UK cover of Wolfblade. Thoughts?

Hum . . . it looks rather mastierious but it doesn't realy tell you anything about the book. The US edition you have Marina on the front cover, you had some hint at what it would be about. But with this one . . . I don't know if i picked it up without reading the back flap i'ed guess it had something to do with vickings or some VERY old midevil subject like that, i probably wouldn't read it to be honnest, unless i already knew the name Jennifer Fallon :D

lol, btw, i LOVED this book, lol

Marina? Isn't it supposed to be Marla?

On topic;

I think it's pretty... Maybe the letters of the title are a bit too red though... Hmmm...

I think it looks bloody marvellous! One of the best I've seen in a while. I would pick the book up on the strength of the cover. To me it looks fantasy, but it could be historical action, it could even be horror. But the fact that anyone interested in those genres might pick it up, drawn by the cover (and a nifty title, by the way!) then read the back cover and on the strength of that want to read the book can only be a good thing.

The more readers who can be attracted to fantasy, the better.

oh, my.

I think the castle bit looks great, I can't wait to get my hands on the book.

The eyes, I'm not so sure about. Eyes over another picture is pretty overdone, I think.

I like it. I think I like it better than the U.S. cover. If I saw in the bookstore for the first time, I would pick it up. It has an enigmatic quality about it, and makes you want to read the back cover. I think the red letters are perfect. It says, "Look at me! I'm really bright and shiny, and you should pick me up and read me."

maybe its cause I just finished reading a werewolfish series...that included Vampires...but that just also screams werewolf/vamp to me.
But it also just looks wicked too.

Far better than the American version. This one looks very classy.

We think it looks great....As much as they say don't judge a book by its cover... everyone does, and with a cover like that it would definately garantee I pick it up!

Ordinarily, it is the sort of cover that would send me dipping inside the book. However, they were clever to include your name in print nearly as large as the title, as the Fallon name must sell pretty darn-gosh well on its own. I like the font for the title as well, but that is my personal taste.

I like it. I get the references. It's subtle, but on the other hand it doesn't say a lot about the story itself.

Sk.

I like it =3 It is a lot like covers of other books I've read, but I have a thing for castles xD The eyes remind me of other books (Alyzzon Whitestar for example), but I really like the colouring.

I kind of like the colors but the picture seems a bit generic. I've seen it a few times, I think. The font seems kind of gothic/warewolf/vampire. I hope it sells well.
