So, writing's done today. Got the word count up. Now I have to go back and make the stole that goes with Secondborn's dress. And make a top for me to wear with my suit. Out of gold lamé, no less. Nothing like being demure, and tasteful at a black tie wedding, I say.

Oh, but I did do a blurb for the Chaos Crystal that the publishers needed for a directory someone is putting together.

You're getting there! I imagine it would be very hard to work to a deadline, do you ever got writer's block?

Nope... I never start a book until I know how it's going to end and if I get stuck I just harass all my friends into letting me vent, during which time the solution invariably presents itself.

Who's slacking? I'm on vacation. Just got back to Vermont from Washington, DC last night. Saw all kinds of things Jennifer would love and thought of her often while meandering through both Smithsonian Air and Space museums! Saw BOTH Enterprises - original Star Trek AND the Shuttle. Even the Close Encounters of the Third Kind mother ship. The Return of the Jedi C3PO and R2D2's were there also (took pics - Ohhhhh...), as well as all kinds of other spacey stuff. Nearly bought a window walking robot to send to Jennifer, but thought better of it. She's already got enough toys. ;)
