Publishers Weekly Review

The wonderful, handsome, and very thoughtful Jerry Kalajian, from International Property Management in LA*  sent this through to my agent today.

Isn't he a lovely fellow?

It's the US Publishers Weekly review of Warlord, which is due out in North America in August.

In Fallon’s intricately plotted final novel in the Wolfblade trilogy (after Wolfblade and Warrior), Marla Wolfblade’s wily offspring take top billing. Marla has taught her large brood the cutthroat Warlord (USA, Mass market) tactics it takes to keep and wield power. Now that they have reached adulthood, Marla has loosened her grip like a falconer unleashing a bird for the kill. At 25 years old, Damin Wolfblade, who has always known he would one day be Warlord of Krakendar Province, is anxious to take up his position as Warlord and heir to the Throne of Hythria. First, however, he must repel an invasion force from Fardohnya that’s three times the size of any force he can muster, and he must tackle the politically turbulent problem of keeping the Warlord positions of Hythria’s provinces filled with Wolfblade allies. With cold-blooded maneuverings that include murder, torture and thievery on an awe-inspiring scale, Fallon has brought this segment of the Hythrun Chronicles to a close with a grand flourish.

while its an extremely lovely review, having read the book, i would have to say it doesn't do it justice! i loved this book and thought it was the best you've written. the evolution of the characters, especially damin, and the seamless melding to the demon child books is masterfull. i can honestly say since discovering your work, i have searched out austrailian authors (they're a little hard to find here in the US) and have had a renewed appreciation for sci-fi/fantasy.

thanks for the many hours of enjoyment i have found reading your work.

I want the book! Why does it take so long for aussie authors to get published in the US? (you dont have to answer that, I know why just whiney).
And very nice review by the way. Upon reading I think right before I get Warlord, I will have to reread the other two...hmmm
